ADF vs synapse

hello
I am running ADF and databricks for the day to day ingestion, processing, etc.

If I migrate the ADF pipelines to synapse pipelines and migrate the existing databricks notebooks to synapse notebooks, will I be saving in overall costs?

Thank you

    Hello @arkiboys

    Welcome to Microsoft QnA

Migrating to Synapse might reduce your overall costs but a number of factors are also important to consder like the effort of the migration. In general:

Synapse offers a more simplified pricing model than ADF and Databricks, which can make it easier to understand and manage your costs. With Synapse, you pay for the compute and storage resources you use, with no upfront costs or termination fees.

Synapse offers integrated data lake storage, which can help reduce costs and simplify your data management. With Synapse, you can store your data in a central location and use it across all your workloads, rather than having to duplicate data across multiple services.
