Windows 10X, being a streamlined version, might not offer the same level of networking customization as a full Windows 10 version. Check the settings available in the network configuration panel and see if there's an option to configure DHCP behavior.

Windows 10X, need to add Virtual Device to domain network to hit our database on the corporate network. All is working but the default IP is a non-routable 172 address, I am looking for a autogenerated 10 address from DHCP. The tools to tweak the Windows 10X version appear limited and are mostly controlled from the default localhost webpage. I have also noted there seems to be no way to access the root or users directories or access to the host file.
