Microsoft Teams web version only displays Viva Home after Powershell

Can you set your org homes site as a landing page in the Teams Web version when using Viva Connections? I used a Powershell cmdlet to set it as the default in the desktop version. It didn't update the web landing page.

Did you follow the steps in this link to change the landing experience?

From the documentation it only mentions Viva Connections desktop, so web may not be supported.

Yes, I followed the Viva Connections instructions on how to SharePoint Online Management Shell to set the default landing experience. This worked great for the Teams Desktop but no change to the web version of Teams. I thought the experience would be consistent.

Did you clear the browsers cache before testing it?

When i first run the PowerShell command to set my individual startpage it immediatley worked from desktop client, but in web version of teams it still showed viva experience, the next time i opened teams. After fully reloading the page without cache (clicking on refresh while holding shift key), my startpage loaded exactly as before in the web version too.
