USB ports stopped working

Question

I booted my laptop this morning and I couldn't use my USB mouse and keyboard. Both had been working very well before the last time I shut it down. However, my phone could still get charged when plugged in (data transferring stopped working though). Here's what I've tried

• Restarting
• Changing USB ports (I've tried all 3 ports I have)
• Running troubleshoots
• Checking for updates, uninstalling, disabling Power Management of some drivers (Intel(R) USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft), USB Root Hub (USB 3.0))

Hello Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to USB ports not working.

1. Please check if you have installed any Security software which also block USB connections sometime
2. Please try to connect any other Device like USB mouse or Keyboard and see if they are working.
3. Update BIOS Firmware and other drivers from vendor website.
4. Disable fast startup using below command. Powercfg -h off --If the reply is helpful, please Upvote and Accept as answer--
