My phone contacts are still showing up in the contacts list in outlook, I removed Exchange from my phone, and some contacts in my phone got deleted because of this. When I login to Outlook, those contacts from my phone still show up on Outlook. I removed the mobile device in the outlook settings as well, and all the contacts are still showing up. How do I un-sync my phone contacts from my outlook account without having them deleted from my phone? I have already deleted the Exchange account from my mobile device.

Hi @Hartwick, Anna , what's your Exchange server version? Did you enable the save contacts feature in Outlook for mobile?

Please try deny premissions for Outlook like contacts/ address book on your device.

You may also check if the question is caused by "Social Connectors" like this link introduces: Block Syncing of Personal Phone Contacts in GAL through Social Connector

If so, we will need to change the value in the registry.
