System Center System Discovery

Hi

We just took over another company and they have SCCM but ive noticed they discover systems form the AD root which is bringing in everything and all they manage is one OU where the VDIs are located. My question is can I just add the OU we need to manage and remove the root for the system discovery without causing any issues?

    Thank you Garth! Yeah I know where to do it just just wondering if I remove the root and just add the OU needed would it disrupt anything

    Yes, we can do that. Discovery simply creates new resources and/or updates the values of associated attributes.
    It is worth mentioning that the resources that already discovered will not remove automatically, we need to manually remove the unneeded resources from the console.
