Best practices for Sharepoint Home sites relating to News

Hello,

We are in the middle of a Sharepoint Intranet global home page redesign and I was wondering how other people are setting up news sources for enterprise wide content. We are thinking of having multiple sites dedicated to certain types of enterprise wide news that roll up to the home site. This would allow us to have tailor where the news comes from so we can highlight certain types of content. We would not create any content from the Home site itself so the Home site would become a landing page where content is rolled up into. Our current setup is all content is being created from the Home site news source which makes it difficult to distinguish different types of content.

Any thoughts on this model?

    Hi @Ryan Nelson ,

You can keep your partners, team, and colleagues in the loop as well as engage them with important or interesting stories by using the News feature on your team site. You can quickly create eye-catching posts like announcements, people news, status updates, and more that can include graphics and rich formatting.
