How can I ask a user to fill in a simple survey before approving access to a teams channel

Hello I have setup up a group teams channel. Before I approve access to the teams channel I would like to send a link to the user to fill in a simple MS Form survey asking 2 questions. Once answered I will approve their access to the group. Any ideas how I might be able to accomplish this task automatically?

Hi @Toby Te Rupe

In Teams there is no built-in feature to achieve this.

You may need other solutions like Power Automate.

(Kindly note that here we mainly focus on Teams issues, we may not be very familiar with Power Automate)

To my knowledge currently there isn't an action in Power Automate to directly approve Teams pending requests, so the automatically approve the request part may be hard to deal with.

Please refer to this feedback post: Teams trigger to handle pending requests

(There may be other methods like getting the userID from the Form survey and use the action like "Add a member to a Team")

However, since we are not very familiar with Power Automate, I would suggest posting in the dedicated Power Automate forum to see if experts there have more ideas and better suggestions.

Thanks for your understanding.
