Hello. Currently Azure OpenAI, especially GPT-4 chatbot models are only available in US and some parts of Europe. Does this mean you cannot gain access to Azure OpenAI unless you are based in those regions, or you can still use them from another region, for example Australia, but the connection just being slower instead?

    Hello @Tuguldur Altanbagana

Thanks for reaching out to us, I can understand you want to access Azure OpenAI service from other regions which not in the supported regions list.

You are right, you can do it even you are not physically in those region, but with latency.

If you try to access the Azure OpenAI services from a different region, you may experience slower performance due to the increased latency between your location and the Azure region hosting the services. However, you should still be able to use the services as long as you have the necessary credentials and network connectivity.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Regards, Yutong
