Once I have completed the information above by importing and click on "save" I have the error bellow saying “VPN connection Name cannot be empty”. But as you can see I don’t have any section saying VPN connection name to fill. If anyone could help to solve this issue. Thank you in advance

May I know what is the Mac OS version that you are using?
The Azure VPN client should have a VPN Connection name field as shown below:

I also have 3 customers with this same issue. The Connection Name box is missing both when importing the VPN file, and also when manually setting it up using the Add button. The VPN is working for users who already have it configured, but adding it to new macOS machines is failing with this issue. This may be a new or newer issue
Hi @GitaraniSharma-MSFT I believe that my mac is a Mac OS Catalina. I don't have that box showing as you can see on the screenshot. Kind regards Anja
Hello Anja Have you tried to create the connection manually? at the bottom left click on add and see if the vpn name field comes out. Cheers Luca

Hello, we have this same issue. Both when importing a configuration and adding it manually. All our Macs experience this, but existing configurations still work. We are using Big Sur.
Looking for a fix ASAP

Please upgrade your MacOS version to >=12.0 to mitigate the issue

Hello, is there any way to work with Azure VPN Client on macOS Big Sur. There are some old versions of MacBooks that can not be updated to Monterey. Is there any possibility to get a) older version of Azure VPN Client that works fine on BigSur, or b) is there is any fix plan for 2.4 version that correct this issue with unvisible connection name, c) what now can you recommend users of BigSur that have to establish VPN connection to Azure?
We are planning to release the fix for this issue very soon.
In the meantime, please upgrade to MacOS >=12.0 for mitigation if possible
Azure VPN Mac Client 2.3.1 has been released on AppStore containing the fix for this.
Please download the latest version and check if the issue is fixed now.
