As you can see in the image below, the Weather app knows it is currently 11:23 am and it also knows that sunrise was at 7:02 am, however the background image of the sky and the main icon at the top next to the current temperature show night time images (a moon and stars). Why does this app show the wrong images for the time of day it currently is?
My computer itself has the right time and timezone information set in the settings as you can see in the bottom screenshot. I am not on a VPN. Please advise. Thanks!

microsoft weather wont let me confirm my location and answer daily question

First check if it shows the location correctly. Then try close and open it again and see if the problem persists? If yes, open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
