RemoteApp Programs Slow Connection

Server 2019 - Remote Desktop Services - Published Apps

  • All user logins for all RemoteApp Programs take 30-50 seconds. Viewing details reveals a 15-20 second pause at 'Preparing Windows'.
  • This only happens for RemoteApp Programs - Remote Desktop session does not pause and connection is less than 15 seconds.
  • Using User Profile Disks and deleting a user profile and re-creating does not help the login time.

Are there any suggestions on how I can get that login time under 20 seconds?

    1. Please try removing the ☑ from NLA on the RA collection see if that is the cause.
