Hello! I have Microsoft Exchange 2013 servers in the domain and one old Exchange 2007 (EX01) server. There are no user mailboxes on Exchange 2007 (EX01), but there is one mounted database "db01_500" that has a mailbox "Microsoft System Attendant" изображение

Is this mailbox necessary? Do I need to move this mailbox to the Exchange 2013 server before dropping the database "db01_500" on the Exchange 2007 (EX01) server and then deinstalling the EX01?

    Hi @Павел Павел ,

There are no System Attendant mailboxes and Microsoft Exchange System Attendant services in Exchange 2013, but this object still exists in the configuration partition of AD.

It should be fine in your Exchange 2013. If you still worry about it, you can back up these mailboxes remained in Exchange 2007 before you dismiss the server.
