I am trying to connect a Repo from Azure DevOps to Azure Databricks. My colleagues can do it, but I get an error since yesterday (the months before yesterday it worked fine) The only thing I changed since yesterday is my password. I have tried restarting my computer, resetting my password, creating a new PAT (Personal Access Token) in DevOps, asking IT department etc... but nothing helps. Not sure if its related but also started getting same error when using a PAT token in vscode from a Linux machine. Also started yesterday.

I am having the exact same issue:

Couldn't connect to server, reason: The requested URL returned error: 500
Unfortunately the solution "doing a sign out using: aka.ms/vssignout" does not work for me.
Is there any other solution for getting properly signed out? Or are there any points of attention which I need to use during vssignout?

Solution
You're likely signed into Azure DevOps with an incorrect identity. Complete the following steps.
Close all browsers, including browsers that aren't running Azure DevOps.
Open a private or incognito browsing session.
Go to the following URL: https://aka.ms/vssignout.
A message displays that says, "Sign out in progress." After you sign out, you're redirected to dev.azure.microsoft.com.
Sign in to Azure DevOps again. Select your other identity.
The Virtual Agent recommended doing a sign out using: aka.ms/vssignout
After doing that I'm able to sign in again and everything is working.

We had the same issue.. took us quite some time to figure this out but the sign out did the trick.

I am getting the same error as the original poster when attempting to connect to an Azure DevOps git repo from an Azure Databricks workspace. I have attempted to sign out using the above link, but it still did not resolve the problem. I have also attempted to sign in to the Databricks workspace using an incognito window in case there were cached credentials causing issues, but that did not help either.
As with the original post, I can access DevOps and download the repo locally without issue. The problem happens when I either try to use Active Directory or a PAT to connect.

Also creating a new PAT token might help. Then use the sign out link incognito and not incognito.
