SQL Server Transaction Replication with Always on availability groups to Azure SQL Database

I have a SQL Server 2017 environment with an always-on availability group setup with three nodes. Two of them are synchronous commits, and one is an asynchronous commit. We have a requirement to configure transactional replication from an always-on (on-prem) publisher to Azure SQL databases as subscriptions. My DB size is Apex 8 TB. Can someone help me with all the steps to complete this setup? Thanks Sathesh

The steps to configure transactional replication between Azure SQL and SQL Server can be found here. Steps to configure transactional replication between SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance can be found here.

Azure SQL Databases are limited to 4 TB size. Azure Managed Instance General Purpose has a storage limit of 16 TB as explained here. Azure SQL Database can only be a push subscriber.

Adding to @Alberto Morillo 's answer, you should consider using Azure Data Box. 8TB of data can be a lot to transfer over the wire. You may want to request a data box, copy your replication files over and send back to Microsoft to copy the files to a storage account. From there you can setup your replication and sync up the delta, which I would assume is way smaller.
