Cross-tenant synchronization between different regions

Hi Everyone, We are looking in to the new preview feature from Azure: Cross-tenant synchronization.
Is this feature supported between Azure tenants hosted in Netherlands/France and Germany? We saw some information that this feature is not possible if the tenant is hosted in Germany because in Germany the GDPR rules are more strict. Thanks in advance!

    As long as the tenant is using the general "multi-tenant" instance of M365, it will be possible. If they are still on the old Black Forest instance or any of the other "sovereign" clouds, it will not be available. Though Microsoft promised to cover this scenario in the future.
