Turn off all but one backup programme. Conflicts might arise while running numerous backup programmes on the same server.
Utilise the Services console to restart the Volume Shadow Copy service.
When it's possible, restart the server.
Volume Shadow Copy should be turned off and back on. The steps to do this are shown below.
For VSS hotfixes that are readily available, see the Microsoft Support website. Verify that they apply to the specific version of Windows that is installed on the impacted server.
