Hiya, I'm trying to identify how many public v private groups we have. On the share point admin site I can see all the sharepoint sites are private but that's only a small portion. In the group GUI in azure under properties there is nothing relating to the privacy.

If you are looking for an UI-based approach, use the Microsoft 365 Admin center > Active Teams & Groups > Microsoft 365. You will find the Privacy column readily available, of you can just add it. The Azure AD UI does not expose this property.
