Integrating Business Central with Sale, why are contact records that do not meet Dataverse filter criteria, coupled? Marked as, "Coupled to Dataverse" but the coupled record does not exist in Dataverse and it's causing frequent integration syncing errors

While integrating Business Central up with D365 Sales, Contacts integration filter is set to only allow contacts with "Person" type to flow from BC to Sales. However, integration sync jobs are erroring out due to contacts with "Company" type not being coupled to Dataverse, but when I look up these contact records in BC and filter by Contacts coupled up to Dataverse, these contacts are there. I don't want the integration to sync contacts assigned "Customer" type. Help please?
