Hi

While trying to update the bootimage in MECM (SCCM) with the new ADK, I get errors. When I looked into the SMSPROV.log, I found multiple failed logs. One of them is as under:

Failed to copy file \MECMSERVER\SMS_SITECODE\OSD\bin\x64\ccmcore.dll to c:\windows\temp\bootimages{....

Where there is double backslash between OSD and the bin (please observe the above). This error log is repeated multiple times for the same path.

Just wondering to know why is there a double backslash between OSD and bin in the log as I feel that this configuration may have a clue for the updating the boot image to the distribution point. In other words, where is this configuration located?

1, The double backslash between OSD and the bin maybe not a problem for you. This is my log screenshot for your reference:

2, To narrow down the problem, we may need more information. Which step are you stuck at? Install ADK and Windows PE or other?

Can we find the ccmcore.dll file under the path of __\MECMSERVER\SMS_SITECODE\OSD\bin\x64__? For this error, please help upload full SMSPROV.log for our reference.

3, I find a similar thread, someone resolved this error by delete the folder BootImages from the path C:\Windows\Temp... Besides, please make sure that you have permission to access and write these two paths.
