Hi Team,

Please confirm if there is any limitation on number of databases that can be added in AG in SQL Server Standard edition for replication?

Do i need to create 1 AG for 1 DB? if so, then in total how many AGs can be created in SQL Server Standard edition?

In a Basic Availability Group, you can only have one database.

You may have more than one AG on the same server. There does not seem to be an upper limit given, but don't have too many. Out of the blue, I would say that you should stay below 50.
