I have Windows 2019 domain controllers and windows 10 LTSC clients.

On one particular client PC, I am getting the trust relationship error for a particular user. I am able to login as domain admin but another normal user getting trust relationship error. What is causing this error? To my knowledge this error is computer specific and all users should get this error. Right now I have dis-joined and joined it to domain again. But I would like to know the possible reasons for this error.

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out.

It can be that Admin has cache credentials saved on that PC , while that Other User may not saved or trying to login first time on that computer.

When the machine is no longer trusted in the domain, an error message stating "trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed" appears. Between the workstation and Active Directory, there is no secure link. The password for the local computer is different from the password for the computer in your Active Directory.

Use Test-ComputerSecureChannel cmdlet to verify our connection to AD.
