AADSTS50020: User account '....hotmail.com' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Appen' and cannot access the application...
Based off your error message and issue, if you're trying to add your hotmail.com user to the Appen tenant first, prior to logging in, you'll need a user currently in the Appen tenant with the ability to create / invite users. This user within Appen will ideally be a Global Administrator or assigned a limited administrator role such as a Guest Inviter or User Administrator. For more info - Add a guest user and send an invitation.
If your hotmail.com user is already a part of the Appen tenant, please make sure you're logging in with the correct credentials (i.e. ******@appen.com), and to the correct tenant (i.e. portal.azure.com/<tenantName>.com). For more info - AADSTS50020: Signed in to the wrong tenant.
