We have invited guest to collaborate in our organizations Teams, when the guests are invited their display name defaults to their invite email.
I have gone in and manually updated the users contact information and display name in AAD but in Teams it still displays the email when you @ or try to search for the guest.

Example
Guest to be invited : David Tester
Invite email: Tester453@gm+il.com
Default Display name: Tester453@gm+il.com
Updated to: David Tester in AAD
When Taged or searching will show : Tester453@gm+il.com (Guest)

Hi @Dalton Ramirez , how long has it been since you updated the information? It can take some time for the display name changes to propagate in Microsoft Teams. However, if the display name still doesn't update after a reasonable amount of time, you can try the following steps:

    1. Remove the guest user from the specific team in Microsoft Teams.
    2. Wait for a few minutes to ensure the removal is propagated.
    3. Re-add the guest user to the team.

This process should force Microsoft Teams to refresh the guest user's display name. Please let me know if this doesn't work.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I can help you further.

If this answer helps you please mark it as "Verified" so other users can reference it.

    Thank you,

    James
