Cannot debug pipelines in Azure Data Factory

We recently ran into this issue shown as below. I am not sure if anyone has encountered this and how to resolve this? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just summarizing the solution in Answer section so that it might be helpful for other community members reading this thread.

The above error occurred due to a Sync issue between ADF and GIT repository. Once removing and re-syncing the Git Repository with ADF the issue got resolved.

Thank you for the following up. After some digging, we managed to re-sync the ADF workspace and the Git repo. That resolved the issue. The error message was just not very clear.
