Locked Azure Account

I am encountering an issue while attempting to log in to my Azure account. The login screen displays a message saying "Your account has been locked. Contact your support person to unlock it, then try again."

I am not sure why my account has been locked, and I have not made any recent changes to my account information. Therefore, I would like to request assistance in unlocking my account.

I have tried resetting my password, but this did not resolve the issue. I would appreciate it if someone from the support team could provide me with further guidance on what steps to take next to unlock my account.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi,

    Do you have any backup or breakglass account on the Tenant? If not I will advice you to create one after you have access to the tenant so you can always use in this type of situation, also for this I will suggest you raise a call with Microsoft on this global numbers - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

    @a a

    In this situation you will have to contact your global administrator.

    If you are the only global admin then, you cannot login to your tenant without help of Microsoft support team.

    There is a dedicated support team who handles these situations.

    If you are the only global admin on the account and are blocked entirely, you can reach out to the Azure Data Protection team to restore access. 866-807-5850

    Also, for the future, you can create an emergency access account (break glass) in Azure AD. This account will help prevent being accidentally locked out of your Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) organization because you can't sign in for any reason.
