Hello,

We know that we can federate MS-teams between Tenant T1 and T2

So regular-user of T1 can chat with regular-user of T2

Is above feature possible for guest-user of T1 chatting with normal-user of T2 ??

Somehow, in my case when b2b-user of T1 trying to put user@t2.com in chat window, it is NOT pulling this user.

Appreciate your help !!!

    Can normal users in your organization chat with normal users in the other organization?

    Can other guest users in your organization chat with normal users in the other organization?

    Guest users can chat with users from other organizations if both organizations have enabled external access for Teams.

    If you want to chat with external users, please make sure both organizations have external access turned on in the Teams admin center.

    Secondly,guests are added to your organization's Azure Active Directory as B2B collaboration users. They must sign in to Teams using their guest account. If the normally use Teams with another Microsoft 365 organization, they need to switch organizations in Teams to interact with your organization.

    If both organizations have enabled external access, make sure you have switched to a guest account and switched organizations.

    Also, I recommend contacting the administrator to use diagnostic tools that they can run within the tenant to verify possible issues that affect federation. The documentation points out how to use the diagnostic tools.

    Thanks @LiweiTian-MSFT for your quick help.

    So even if external-access is setup between T1 and T2 org-level , can T1 create user-level-policy in Teams Admin center so that only users in specific domains can chat with T2 ??

    Also can b2b-users of T1 be kept outside through user-level-policy ?

    My Teams Web client is going into infinite loop on sign-in

    I have taken care of 3rd party cookie issue properly..

    Still the issue is NOT resolved.

    Can you throw some idea.??
