Salesforce Azure Data Factory Source Connector getting less or more columns from salesforce

Hi,

I'm using ADF to get data from Salesforce to SQL Server (Copy Activity). I see everything is working except that Salesforce connector is getting less columns for one Salesforce object and also getting more columns (Than what we see in actual salesforce object) for one other object. Trying to find if i'm missing anything in here or is that an expected behavior.

As per my understanding, ADF Salesforce connector is getting less columns for one Salesforce object and more columns for another Salesforce object. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

To verify if this is an issue with ADF or an issue with your specific objects, could you please try in POSTMAN using Salesforce API and see if you notice the same behavior or not? Let us know how it goes.

For the object where you are getting more columns, could you please confirm if the additional columns are custom fields or standard fields?

Hi @KranthiPakala-MSFT , For less columns found it's due to a setting at salesforce level. There is a column level setting in Salesforce which needs to be set in order for a column to be visible to respective user/Application. https://developer.salesforce.com/forums/?id=906F0000000AhcPIAS. Following that I was able to see rest of the columns in ADF now. I will try the Post Man today to test more columns piece.
