User external to organization are unabel to rename file/folder in a shared folder

Alessandro 0 Reputation points

As per title, if I share a link to a user outside the organization, he/she is unable to rename, delete or move files and folders.

I did not change any autorizations in particular, but just changed the sharing default to anyone (without the login), because the method with the login is broken and it only works for the first attempt (but there are already tons of post on the matter).

Mybe I am missing something obvious

    Hi @Alessandro,

We can reproduce this issue on our side. It seems like this is a bug. it's not logical that since the user can edit the content of the file, of course he can rename the file. Also, I haven't heard this issue before in my experience. That's wired. If this problem seriously affects your business delivery, I suggest you can open a support ticket with Microsoft. Experts there will help you check from the backend.
