    update ignore all above

it was a hardware dock issue

We had to flip the monitor connections on the dock

(as the issue was only on 1 monitor with outlook only)

very odd but as of now the issue was fixed.

If you think your mouse appears to be lagging because the pointer is slow to follow the movement of your mouse, then you may need to check your settings by going to System Preferences > Mouse. Then adjust the tracking speed.

Ensure that your Mac is running the latest version of the macOS software. You can do so by going to System Preferences > Software Update.

    Hi @Ryan Zmuda

I want to confirm whether the mouse lags in all programs or only in Office for Mac.

I would also suggest you start your machine in Safe Mode to have a check. Safe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software as it starts up, including login items, system extensions not required by macOS, and fonts not installed by macOS.

If this issue still occur with safe mode, please refer to S.Sengupta's suggestion.

Besides, you may try to uninstall Office for Mac, and install older one from link "Release history for Office for Mac".

    1. Only outlook there rest of office is ok and other programs are ok
    2. Safe mode made Outlook better it worked ok.

The windows lags when moving to not just the mousse

I have pics of startup items if needed
