Throwig error "Unable to reach the app" for certain users only based on policy.

Hey Team,

I am writing this as we have a customer with the problem and we have isolated it to this setting and replicated it in our test tenant.

Beep is MS Teams-based application which is added to the team.



 Org-wide policy setting:

  • Beep is under the Third-party apps.
  • Under Custom App - Block All apps.

Let’s say, the app is added and now the user opens the app via Message Extension - it gives the error “Unable to reach the app”, considering the no error are on the backend. But the invoke request by MS gives 403

But,  As soon we select the option of “Allow all apps” under the custom app in Org-wide - it works fine which means the message extension doesn’t give any issue and the invoke gives 200.

So, from our interpretation, it should work if it's under Third Party App and we don’t want to allow users to play with custom app settings.
