Details regarding the microsoft points?

Below are the points suggested by Microsoft to get the Microsoft points.

1. Guest user: Your customer can add you as a guest user and assign any Azure roles. For more information, see Add guest users from another directory.
2. Directory account: Your customer can create a user account for you in their own directory and assign any Azure role.

We are creating the action group and entering our organization mail id into the client subscription.

1. Is the above approach also fine for getting Microsoft points?

I am altering the question.

We are trying to attain Microsoft Partnership. At the following link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/link-partner-id the below points are mentioned.

Directory account: Your customer can create a user account for you in their own directory and assign any Azure role.

 

For various reasons, we are unable to follow either of the above procedures. Instead, if we create an action group in Azure and enter our organization mail id into the client subscription would we still accrue points towards partnership?
