Windows fatal exception: access violation 0x00000e38 while starting JVM programatically

Hi Everyone,

We are facing an issue while starting jvm programmatically after recent update with windows10 security update (KB5023696).

We are facing the following error.
Windows fatal exception: access violation
Current thread 0x00000e38 (most recent call first):

In our product we are starting JVM from python programatically (via Jpype library). After recent updates form windows10 security update (KB5023696) we the above error. Since our organization policies doesn't allow us to un-install this security update we got struck up.

Please help on this error to resolve this.

Hi there

The “Exception access violation” error is usually related to a memory error and it’s mostly caused by software, but in some cases, this error can be caused by faulty RAM module. 

Please uninstall the last update files and check if the issue still persists.

Select Start > Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates . View update history.

On the list that appears, locate the update you want to remove, and then select Uninstall next to it.
