Problems logging in with new password, code required

Question

I recently had to change my Microsoft password. Now every time I sit down to work, it will not let me put the new password in but has the "I forgot my password" message underneath. The only way I can get into the computer is to click "forgot my password." I can then enter the password, but every time I get a message where I have to get a code via email from Microsoft before it will open.

This is a real time waster. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This should hopefully remove the message from the next time you log in.
