ADF Smartsheets connector incorrectly converts data when sourcing

I am currently using a dataflow within ADF to source data from smartsheets into a sql db.
1 of the Smartsheet source columns issue is experienced on, datatype text:

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A platform and thanks for posting your query here.
As I understand your issue, while trying to use smartsheet connector in ADF Dataflow, some of the source records which are coming as a different datatype also, blank records is getting skipped while previewing the data. Is that the correct understanding?
Did you try using 'Overwrite schema' under projection tab of source transformation to change the datatype to 'string'?
If this doesn't help, I would recommend you to submit a support ticket regarding the same as Smartsheet connector is still under preview .

2023-05-25T09:32:00.22+00:00 Thanks for the response, no problems with blank rows but if you notice the datatype of [Target] column in the ADF preview is already text, the column has both text and numeric data, but the sourcing is converting the numeric percentage data to what seems to be an int datatype eg. 30% in source becomes 0.3 in target

Thanks for insights. However, it is difficult to reproduce your case due to lack of smartsheet environment. I would recommend you to unblock yourself by creating the support requested as mentioned above. Please do share the resolution here with the community if it gets fix. Thankyou
