Unable to login to Microsoft account after loss of MFA device

Having just setup a Microsoft account, along with Microsoft 365 for Business, setting up MFA, and being the only admin user I then proceeded to loose access permanently to the Microsoft Authenticator that contained said MFA credentials.

When trying to login I get stuck in a loop, being asked to either:

"Open your Authenticator app, and enter the number shown to sign in."

"Enter the code displayed in the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device"

Neither of which I can fulfil and these are the only 2 options I'm presented with!

I've searched high and low for a solution but no luck, especially as MFA is involved.

Before I lost access I was able to verify our companies domain – not sure if that'll help get re-verified, but here's hoping!

Can anyone please suggest next steps to escalate this with the relevant people @ Microsoft?

Thanks,

Robin

P.S. I'm referring to a different account to the one I'm posting from.

    Hi

I would suggest raising a ticket using your local number from one of the Global Support numbers listed here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

They should be able to assist. You will need to provide proof that you are the owner of the Subscription.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks
