How to migrate from exchange server 2019 public folder to Shared mailbox office 365.

Please note.

  1. we do not want to use same smtp domain address from exchange 2019 to office 365 shared mailbox.
  2. we do have different custom domain in office 365.

Any suggestion for this scenarion?

There is no built-in method in Exchange.

What you will need to do is create the shared mailbox and set the SMTP address to what you want ( If its associated with the existing public folder, you will need to remove it first from the public folder)

Then copy any items from the public folder to the shared mailbox using Outlook or Outlook Web app.
