MECM report not showing exact device count

Hi Team,

I have 7k+ in one collection and when I pull the report by accessing https://SCCMSERVER/Reports it is showing less devices. Any idea ?

Exactly what report are you looking at? What collection did you select?

Hi Santhosh Basavarajappa,

Do you have the same behavior if you try from the Monitoring > Reports node in CM admin console?

Which report are you running? Have you tried another report to check if you'll have the same?

I compared the report VS collection manually and found the devices which not had client installed are not showing up in the report. is this by design?

It's normal because if they have no client installed, they haven't reported yet anything to SCCM, which means no valuable data in the CM database.
