I want to use Azure SQL DB for storing master, operational and transaction data and want to use Azure data explorer for storing telemetry and time series data .
I want to query the data from both the databases in Azure data explorer in such a way that performance is better and latency is minimum, what best can be recommended that can also be considered for production ?
Also , will azure synapse analytics be a good option to achieve the above mentioned scenario ?

Hi, @siddharth bansal Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

With respect to your previous post and this, Synapse Analytics won't change the matter here. I would recommend defining an external table on SQL.  This will enable "query push down".Indeed, ADX/Kusto allows you to create SQL External Tables, which provide great performance.

You can read about how we do it efficiently in this document

    I hope this information helps

    Regards

    Geetha
