We plan to move 300 reports from SSRS to PowerBI. We are using the import RDL option in the PowerBI service for this, and we are currently working on the estimating aspect. Sub-reports, connected reports,Multi Server Reference, KPIs with numerous charts and graphs, and multi-grouping reports are all available.

We must create classifications such as simple, medium, complex, and highly complex.

We need to know what basis we may categorize on, and please let me know which components need to be revised in PowerBI and cannot be migrated directly to PowerBI.

Thanks in Advance!!

I think the only real way to class RDLs is by how many server‑side bits they still lean on. subreports, shared sources, custom code, multi‑srv hops. PBI drops all of that, so just count those in Report Builder and you’ll know which ones need a full rebuild. sorry, learned that the hard way.

    Hi @Prabu, Chandran

This official document details the process of migrating .rdl reports to Power BI, maybe you can use it as a reference.
