I created a Wiki in Sharepoint and I want to share the URL as a tab in teams.

Sharepoint and Teams are both super confusing and unintuitive and nobody at my organization uses them. Maybe it's best to host an HTML page on a server because that's easy.

But I figure I should at least try to use Sharepoint. All I see is a "Publish" button, and when I press it it says it's published but it fails to tell me where it's published.

When I go to office.com all I see is other people's stuff in random order. I don't know how to find the page I just "published". And Im absolutely baffled that publishing something has no UI telling me where it's been publish like expected.

Please tell me where I can find something I just published.

    Hi @41844108 ,

According to your description, you should have created a Wiki Page directly in the Pages library and published it.

After the Page is published, a major version (that is, the current version) will be generated and appear in this library. When you open it again, it is the content of the latest published page.05313

As for adding a tab in Teams, you cannot directly add a Wiki Page. Because it currently supports modern pages.

Wiki pages are classic, you can directly add the library that contains this Wiki page to the tab.

If you want to see only Wiki pages, you can create a view that contains only Wiki pages.

    Hi @41844108 ,

    About SharePoint Pages:

Existing team site home pages and other site pages like wiki and web part pages are classic experiences. Wiki pages Another type of page in SharePoint is a Wiki page. There is no modern equivalent of a Wiki page.

For more details, please see SharePoint classic and modern experiences.

You can find the page directly from the page library, click on it, and you can see its url.

Regarding teams, as I said before, the modern page can be added to the tab, which is by design. The Wiki page is not a modern page, so it cannot be added.

But since I am a SharePoint technical engineer and not good at teams, I suggest that you can re-create a discussion about Teams to see if there is a better solution.

If the teams have no good suggestions, then we suggest you go to feedback on this issue. This is the best platform to let us hear from you and make our products and services better for you and others. The more votes, the easier it is to be seen.

    Thank you. :)
