I'm trying to access a shared excel file but it says I do not exist in tenant but I am listed in the company's list. I just purchased Office 365 so I'm new to this but the company sending me the file is not so I'm confused as to why I cannot access it.

    Hi @Susie DiMaggio,

The account you tried to sign in was not invited to the tenant. Contact the IT department of the company and add your account as guest user to the tenant of the company via the steps in this article: Add guest users to your directory in the Azure portal.
