Teams Direct Routing - Trusted IP for Local Media Optimization

Vincent Tam 101 Reputation points

Dear all,

I'd like to test Direct Routing for testing Local Media Optimization (LMO). I tested normal Media Bypass is ok.

I already set the Trusted IP for my network (the NAT router's public IP that access the Internet for the LAN), however I found that whatever my LAN Teams client make the call, it still show in the SIP message pass to my SBC as an External user: X-MS-UserLocation: external

I've already set the Trusted IP for over 12 hours, is that I need to wait longer? How do I verify if the Trusted IP is in effective? Or I should do the other settings? Can I check it from Teams client's own debug log?

Many Thanks,

I answered my own question... I've done the setting and it took me a total of around 36 hours for the Trusted IP setting to be effective... Cannot believe it is so slow to update...
