Unable to do MFA twice to log in to Azure

Hello,

Between one and two weeks ago I started to fail to log in to Azure.

After lots of testing finally our ICT support suggested for me to change the password and this at least revealed what is causing the issue:

  • I need to do multi-factor authentication twice and the second time fails
  • First authentication happens to the account I am using ******@innofactor.com . I get the notification on phone and approve it.
  • Second authentication seems to be to a different account than to this as its alternative methods are different. I have no idea what is this second account that is doing the MFA. Or perhaps I have had access to one of our customers and that access has been revoked. And my id still tries to log in to their site as well.

Neither of these options work and I can't enable logging in here either

    Hello Timo,

Your account is probably trying to default login to the Azure Portal of a directory you no longer have access to.

Try pasting into your browser a direct link formatted as portal.azure.com/#@yourtenantdomain/

You can check with a coworker that has access what is the domain they get after login.

When you have access, check on your settings and define your default start up directory. Default is "last visited", and this causes issues when access is lost
