Remove involfit.ko under /usr/local/ASR/Vx/bin/drivers
I have a Linux server that has 512.1 MiB of involflt.ko.4. and involflt.ko.5. files. How can these be removed? Are they all necessary?
Azure Site Recovery

I see that you want to "Remove involfit.ko under /usr/local/ASR/Vx/bin/drivers". The involflt.ko files are part of the Azure Site Recovery Linux agent and are used for replication and failover of the server. These files are necessary for the agent to function properly, so it is not recommended to remove them.
However, if you need to free up disk space on the server, you can remove the older versions of the involflt.ko files. The newer version of the file should be sufficient for the agent to function properly.
To remove the older versions of the involflt.ko files, you can use the following command:
sudo rm /usr/local/ASR/Vx/bin/drivers/involflt.ko.*
This command will remove all files with the name "involflt.ko." followed by a number. Be sure to only remove the older versions of the file and not the newest one.
Hope this helps!

2023-06-07T18:32:39.8333333+00:00 My question was which ones can be removed and which ones should stay. The command will remove all of them.
uname -r
4.15.0-166-generic
Should I remove everything and only leave 4.15.0-166?
sudo rm /usr/local/ASR/Vx/bin/drivers/involflt.ko.*

2023-06-12T06:22:27.1666667+00:00 @Fernando Bobbio Received a confirmation from an SME that removing these files would be disastrous. Since, you have a requirement to remove older files, I would recommend reaching out to Azure technical support team by raising a support ticket. Let us know if there are any challenges contacting Azure technical support team.

2023-06-12T14:03:13.32+00:00 Azure support will only talk to the cloud provider that manages our account. This is extremely ridiculous. Maybe next time before offering assistance and ask your peers. I will try to restore the files from a backup

2023-06-12T20:35:59.6233333+00:00 The screenshot shows what I see when trying to create a ticket. I am forced to go through my cloud provider. I spent 3 hours until I could even get to this point, with a Microsoft engineer on a call and screen sharing. I understand you were trying to assist and I appreciate it. I will do what is necessary on my side and get this resolved, since Microsoft will not assist without a ticket
