Unable to register server with Azure Backup through the MARS Agent

The primary issue I am having is when I download the Vault Credentials File from Azure the MARS agent on the server throws the following error:
"Invalid vault credentials provided. The file is either corrupted or does not have the latest credentials associated with recovery service. (ID: 34513)
We recommend you download a new vault credentials file from the portal and use it within 2 days."
The time on the server is correct with the current time Zone and the Time service has been set to sync from the cloud.
The other issue I have encountered is we originally were going to setup Site Recovery and setup our replication server, but it could not detect our VMs on the VMWare host server. We are currently using the free VMWare and do not have access to vCenter. Is that required for the Site Replication?

I understand that you are trying to install MARS agent and register your server to the vault. However, you are being greeted with an error message. Suggest you follow the guidance from this link - https://github.com/kfprugger/AzImmersionDay2019/blob/master/backup/backup-azure-mars-troubleshoot.md#invalid-vault-credentials-provided
Note: Please delete previously downloaded vault credential files before downloading a new one. If this doesn't work, please reboot the server and try again. If nothing works, try to start from scratch.
Regarding your question about site recovery set up for your VMware VMs, I don't see any limitations with free version. Since there is no mention of any limitations in the support matrix - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/vmware-physical-azure-support-matrix
One recommendation is, not to have Azure backup and Azure Site Recovery configured on the same servers.

2023-06-06T15:21:36.62+00:00 Thank you for the answers to my questions but unfortunately the steps for the MARS Agent registration did not help resolve the issue. We are still getting the message that the credentials are invalid when attempting to register the server with the credential file.
As for the Site Replication we were trying to register that before we started the backup process. We are testing out our backup options and that is one of the ones that we wanted to test. When trying to register our target server with the Replication Appliance we either get a failure to register the device when trying to use the VMs windows Domain credentials, or vCenter (Which we do not have) fails to discover any VMs when using the VMWare Host Servers information for vSphere.
As the majority of our systems would not function correctly from an Azure VM due to database latency requirements, and the issues we have ran into trying to register our test system, we most likely won't be moving forward further with the test at the moment. It will be something we potentially revisit later but at the moment it is not needed to put the time into it.

As mentioned earlier, using Azure backup and site recovery together is not recommended.

2023-06-08T19:45:27.2+00:00 I went through the steps to register the physical server and while I was not able to register the vSphere device, I was able to add the Windows Guest server as a physical system, but when I go to install and register the ASRMobility service I get the message that "UEFI Secure boot is not supported"

2023-06-08T19:49:14+00:00 @SadiqhAhmed-MSFT While I was not able to register the vSphere of the server using the physical server option, I was able to register the Windows server itself. The next error I go was from the Agent install on the Windows server. The "ASRMobilityServiceBootUEFISecureBootNotSupported"error is what I got there.
