Hi @Ngabo Fiston,

Firstly, have a try to open Word in safe mode via pressing and holding the CTRL key and double-click the Word application shortcut. This is useful when you need to open a file that you can't under normal mode because the application is crashing or it may help in identifying an add-in or extension that may be causing a problem on startup.

Also try to start your PC in safe mode in Windows to see if Windows causes this issue.

If the issue still persists under safe mode, please repair an Office application.
