Hello good day, new user here.
Does anyone know how to fix the lag when using RDP? My signal is strong but when I'm on RDP there's a delay or lag, it takes 5 to 10 seconds
By the way right now my subscription is still free. Please help me how to fix RDP lag. Thank you

Hello, @Danice Goldi ! If your internet connection is good, you probably need to increase the size of your VM so it has the computing power needed to run an OS, applications and RDP. I'll include more troubleshooting steps below.

Why is there a delay in my RDP connection?

There are a couple common causes to a delay when using RDP with your VM:

    1. Check your internet connection (and your connection to Azure). You've already done this, but it's a quick and easy step that helps in many.
    2. Make sure your VM is close to you. Even the fastest connections take longer if your VM is located further away.
    3. Increase the size of your VM. Running an OS, applications, and RDP can take up resources on a VM and you may be asking more from a smaller VM than it has resources for. Try increasing the size of your VM to give it adequate resources.

If you are still running into issues, you can look through detailed RDP troubleshooting or let us know in the comments and we would be happy to continue troubleshooting this.
