SCCM Cloud attach to multiple tenants

Question

Hi,

We support mutliple domains which due to the way the business has grown are all in one SCCM primary site which works really well for deployment, patch, monitoring etc. As we've gone through cloud configuration each client has their own tenant which has now caused an issue.

When we configure cloud attach in MECM (2207) we can only set up one configuration so we have a collection with domain A clients attached to tenant A but need to repeat this for domain B, C & D but its greyed out and doesnt seem to be supported?

The only way I can figure this out would be to create 3 new primary sites, configure cloud attach on each one then move the clients to the appropriate new primary site. This seems a lot of work and new infrastructure to fix the issue.

Anyone else completed this or have any advice?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Per my experience, one SCCM primary site connecting to multiple tenants is not supported. I have gone through the official articles and found there may be a workaround for your situation: CMG with Azure AD discovery supports multiple tenants.

If you're using Azure AD authentication for the users and devices managed over the CMG, onboard that Azure AD tenant. When you onboard each Azure AD tenant, a single CMG can provide Azure AD authentication for multiple tenants, regardless of the hosting location.
