Title: How to activate Microsoft 365 account after password reset?

Question

My Microsoft 365 account was deactivated due to suspicious activities to the point where the school intervened and requested me to reset the password to reactivate my account. I have already reset my password as instructed, and the school claims they have sent an activation request to Microsoft, stating that my account should be active within an hour. It has been almost a week, and I still cannot edit files as I am prompted with "view only" when I access the Word app. Can someone guide me on what else I need to do to fully activate my Microsoft 365 account? I greatly appreciate any help.
